Viridor Credits provided the majority of the funding in order to provide an iconic space for the residents of Dunbar and their visitors to enjoy.
Historic Environment Scotland awarded a grant so that the fabric of the battery could be preserved for future generations. The building is an important part of the heritage of the town.
East Lothian Council provided the seed corn funding that made the whole project possible.
