From Dunbar High Street follow Victoria Street down towards the harbours. Do not miss the opportunity to catch up on the story of Victoria Street (on your left) as you walk down the hill. The statue of the Creel Loaders commemorates the part played by the fisher lassies in Dunbar’s herring story. This statue was carved by East Lothian sculptor Gardner Molloy who also played a major part in the Dunbar Battery project. Follow down past the Volunteer Arms (on your right) and turn left at The Creel Restaurant. When you are down at Victoria Harbour you cross the harbour bridge to find Dunbar Battery ahead of you.
