As the events at the Dunbar Battery are coming to an end for the season, the Trust will be undertaking some essential maintenance work to the grass areas over the winter months. The space has proven hugely popular and we thank all who have visited over the past year or so but it’s taken its toll.
We have taken the decision to close off the upper area to allow the grass to be tined, seeded and dressed and left to recover over the winter and early spring months. Please keep of the grass areas.
Access to the coastal garden and amphitheatre will still be possible and events such as Remembrance Day service and Carol Concert will go ahead as planned.
We apologise for the inconvenience but hopefully it will be worth it in the long run.
