Come and hear more about Dunbar Harbour Trust’s proposal’s to take a slightly different approach to waste management by embracing the ongoing support of the local community and encouraging young people to help improve general waste management through raising awareness of the impact of waste on the environment and wildlife:
* Engaging the community in a week long, intensive harbour clean-up
* Holding an environmental awareness raising open day
* Replacing existing dog waste facilities, which are subject to substantial deterioration, and providing new cigarette butt waste facilities to encourage the effective disposal of this type of waste
